Backstreet Boy AJ McLean Rehabbing Again
It’s back to rehab for trouble-prone Backstreet Boy AJ McLean (Second for Right in Picture Above…)
The “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” hitmaker has entered drug treatment for the third time to treat his dependency on cocaine and alcohol. The Backstreet Boys have announced a hotly-awaited summer tour with New Kids on the Block, kicking June 2, and AJ wants to be sure he’s healthy and back in fighting form before then.
“For personal reasons, I’ve checked myself into a rehab clinic. With 2011 being a busy year for Backstreet, I want to be healthy and at my best,” McLean, who checked into rehab in 2001 and 2002, said in a statement Thursday.. “Thank you for all of your support and respecting my family and friends’ privacy during this time.”
The 33-year-old Orlando native, who is set to wed his longtime girlfriend in May, celebrated his birthday earlier in January — telling fans he wanted to clean up his act.
