Beyonce’s Kid Gets the Blingiest Baby Gift Ever
See that? It’s a Swarovski crystal-studded Baby Diamond Bathtub worth $ 5,200.
And of course it’s now owned by Beyonce’s unborn baby. Because who else would appreciate it.
Most infants get by with a bath in the kitchen sink, but this is not just any infant. When you’re born to musical royalty, your ass shalt never touch such pedestrian surfaces.
The pricey pink tub was a gift from Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child bandmate and close friend Kelly Rowland, possibly as an apology for letting the sex of the baby — it’s a girl — slip during a recent interview.
Created by California-based interior designer Lori Gardner, the baby-sized porcelain claw-foot tub weighs more than 3,000 pounds and is covered in 44,928 imported crystals — each one applied by hand in a process that reportedly takes two months.
And lest you be all “But I hate pink! Does it come in any other colors?”, fear not. It does.
Oh, and according to Gardner, it’s not just for babies. It can also be used to bathe pets or as a beverage chiller for parties!
So, you know, it’s not impractical at all.
