Billy Crystal to Host the Oscars
Who needs Eddie Murphy when you can get Billy Crystal?
After Murphy quit the Oscar hosting gig on Wednesday, producers turned to a familiar face: Perennial host Billy Crystal, who on Thursday afternoon tweeted:
“Am doing the Oscars so the young woman in the pharmacy will stop asking my name when I pick up my prescriptions. Looking forward to the show.”
Assuming we’re not all being punked, it’ll be the popular host’s ninth time behind the podium.
