Bristol Palin Death Threats Leave “Dancing With The Stars” Producers On Edge
Reality fans aren’t just trying to take down Bristol Palin….There are at least a few dancing stans who are dying to take the teen mom out…
Security has been beefed up on the set of Dancing With the Stars as producers of the series try to contain fears and investigate a series of written death threats aimed at Palin ever since the 20-year-old wobbled her way into this week’s Season 11 finals ahead of R&B songbird Brandy, a fan favorite and early frontrunner. The threats have gotten so bad, spies say, that Bristol’s professional partner Mark Ballas has been ordered by Dancing execs to stop Tweeting in an effort to quiet public outrage over the latest Palin Family controversy.
“Everyone is genuinely worried. This is a dance competition, and it’s just gotten crazy,” whispers one frazzled insider.
Meanwhile, Dancing producer Conrad Green says there is nothing fishy going on with the voting.
“There are tons of checks done by every one of our vendors the phone people, the text people and the Internet people,” to make sure only legit votes get through,” Green told Entertainment Weekly Monday.
“Sometimes people just can’t get through because the phone lines are busy; the local exchanges get overwhelmed. But that affects everyone equally. Unfortunately, it’s a huge country with a huge infrastructure, and those kinds of things are going to go wrong. Our servers have gone down on the Internet during voting a lot. I’m very confident the votes that are getting through are valid.”
Bristol, Jennifer Grey, and Kyle Massey take to the floor tonight (8 PM) on the final Dancing With the Stars performance show of the season.
