The ‘Mama’s Song’ singer hits the red carpet at American Country Awards in a light-pink dress while the ‘Like My Mother Does’ singer arrives at the event in a black-accented strapless dress.Carrie Underwood and Lauren Alaina were two of the celebrity attendees that brought glamor to the red carpet of 2011 American Country Awards, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The two former “American Idol” contestants stole the spotlight in their pink ensembles.
Carrie walked down the red carpet in a light-pink mini dress. She completed her look with a pair of pink stilettos with purple accent and wore her blonde hair in a loose bun. Meanwhile, Lauren struck a playful pose in a strapless pink dress with black accent. She completed the outfit with silver pump and a matching headband.
Also drawing the attention in the red carpet was Jordin Sparks. The “Battlefield” hitmaker came minutes before the show started. She showed off her trim figure in a white short gown with off-the-shoulder long sleeves. She finished off her looks with white earrings and tanned heels.
Scotty McCreery, who won New Artist of the Year, rocked a navy suit on top of his black shirt and matching denims while Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry, who arrived with her brothers, opted for black-themed outfit. Miranda Lambert, who hit the red carpet with the Pistol Annies members, showed off her cleavage in a black and gold gown.
The other celebrities coming to the December 5 event were Jason Aldean, Thompson Square, The JaneDear Girls, Hunter Hayes, Kristin Chenoweth, Josh Turner, as well as Trace Adkins. The big winner that night was Jason who walked home with a total of six prizes, while Carrie received three gongs.
