Chace Crawford Plans to Get Ferret Before Having Kids
Admitting he wants to have a kid in a ‘long future,’ the actor playing Marco in ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ thinks he’d like to be married first.Chace Crawford can see himself as a father someday. The 26-year-old actor has been quizzed about having kids during an interview to promote his latest movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”, admitting he does want to have his own children, but “it’s just a long future.”
As his first step to prepare himself for the parental duty, he told Celebuzz, “I figure I’ll get a dog, or a ferret before.” His co-star Anna Kendrick, who joined him during the chat, chimed in, “Or maybe a girlfriend?” Agreeing with the “Twilight Saga” beauty, the “Twelve” actor said having a girlfriend would be the next step after getting a pet.
Asked about how important it is for him to get married first before having a kid, the Nate Archibald of drama series “Gossip Girl” said, “I don’t know.” He then quickly added, “I’d like to think I would… I’d rather be married before.”
While Chace is not ready to start his own family just yet, he recently admitted it’s “awesome” and “really cool” to be a first-time uncle after her sister Candice Crawford gave birth to her first son, Hawkins. Though so, he hasn’t got the chance to babysit as claiming, “Candice doesn’t want me babysitting the baby just yet.”
