Charlotte Neve, Young British Girl, Wakes Up From Coma After Hearing Adele Song
No one is crediting Adele for saving a young girl’s life … but she helped.
Charlotte Neve, 7, suffered a brain hemorrhage that left her in a coma last year. Doctors had just about given up on the girl and told her family to say her goodbyes.
That’s when a miracle, or the closest explainable thing to it, happened.
As Adele‘s “Rolling in the Deep” – one of Charlotte’s favorite songs – came on the radio, Neve’s mom Leila began to sing it to Charlotte … and she smiled.
“I absolutely couldn’t believe it,” Neve told The Telegraph (UK).
“It was the first time she had reacted to anything since the hemorrhage. The nurses were astounded and told me to keep singing, and she smiled again.”
Within a few days, Charlotte, who suffered several strokes since her brain hemorrhage, was able to get out of bed. Following physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and some speech therapy, the fighter was even ready to go home.
