Courteney Cox Also Files for Divorce
In response to David Arquette filing for divorce from his wife of 13 years, Courteney Cox has gone ahead and done the same.
The Cougar Town actress also cited “irreconcilable differences” in her petition and she also chose to represent herself, as these two continue to demonstrate that it is possible to remain civil and amicable in the face of a split.
Cox is seeking joint physical and legal custody of her daughter, Coco, who turned eight years old yesterday; and is also dropping “Arquette” from her name.
There’s no mention of a prenuptial agreement in either Cox or Arquette’s papers, meaning David may be entitled to have of his ex’s fortune under California law. Thanks to the syndication of Friends, this would be a huge sum, as sources confirm Courteney is worth over $ 75 million.
