Emma Watson Loves Experimenting With Makeups on ‘Harry Potter’ Set

In an interview for the July issue of Vogue magazine, the actress famous for her role as Hermione Granger confessed she would spend hours experimenting in the makeup trailer while waiting for the shooting.
“That was my playground,” the 21-year-old actress, who grew close to the head of makeup, Amanda Knight, claimed. “I would sit and play with lipsticks, foundations and eye shadows; and every now and then Amanda let me do the extras’ face paint for the Quidditch matches.”
In the interview, Emma also talked about co-star Daniel Radcliffe. She confessed they have differences in temperament, but she never questioned his leadership ability. “He understood what his role was,” she said. “Not just as an actor but as the leading man in this enormous franchise. And I think that was almost more important in a way. He held it all together. I am very grateful for him.”
Emma further shared that it was hard for her to balance her work and education. “I have felt for the last ten years I have had this battle; I’ve been fighting so hard to have an education. It’s been this uphill struggle,” she explained. “I was Warner Bros’ pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult.”
The actress, who is featured as the cover girl of the fashion magazine’s July issue, additionally shared that she’s ready for her new role as a naughty student Sam in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”. “I’m going to do what I want to do. I’m going to be who I really am. I’m going to figure out what that is,” so she said.
