Flavor Flav Arrested

Fool Got Arrested: The Flavor Flav Edition….FooFoo’s already lengthy rap sheet just grew another inch. The famed hip-hopster-turned-VH1 reality buffon was hauled in in Las Vegas over the weekend after failing to appear in court on a string of alleged traffic violations.
The trouble started when Flav — whose real name is William Drayton, Jr. — was pulled over by police at 10:57 PM PST Friday. A quick run of his name through police records brought up several warrants for his arrest stemming from four automobile-related charges, among them driving without insurance and two instances of driving without a license.
Flavor Flav was arrested and taken to a local jail, where he was fingerprinted, snapped for a mugshot and held for a short time before eventually being released.
The 52-year-old Public Enemy hypeman has a storied history with the authorities, as Us Weekly points out: “…Before dropping out of school in 11th grade, he’d spent time in jail for robbery and burglary. He also struggled with drug addiction throughout the 90s, and in 1991 pled guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Karen Ross and served 30 days in jail….In 1993, he was changed with attempted murder for shooting at a neighbor. In 2002, Flav spent nine weeks in Rikers Island jail for driving with a suspended license, numerous parking tickets and not showing up on time for meetings with his probation officer.”
