Former American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi, is about to be a mom!
After struggling with infertility issues for several years, including multiple failed IVF treatments, Kara and her husband, Mike McCuddy, are expecting their first child via a gestational surrogate. “We made a personal decision to try with a surrogate. I asked someone we knew, a friend. And on the first try, it worked,” Kara told People. Were praying for our surrogate, that she gets through this and that its as easy on her as it can possibly be, because shes been a gem throughout the whole process.
Kara says that they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their son, Greyson James Carroll McCuddy.
