Josh Duhamel Returns For Guest Spot On Exiting “All My Children”

Sure, he’s Mr. Fergalicious and one of the well-chisled stars of The Transformers Franchise, but actor Josh Duhamel’s never too busy for a trip back to Pine Valley, Pennsylvania.
The Dark of the Moon actor — who got his acting start in 1999, playing con artist Leo du Pres on the recently-axed sudster All My Children (AMC) — will return for a cameo on the soap before the longrunning daytime drama wraps up its 41 year run on ABC this fall. Josh won a Daytime Emmy for his performance in 2002, but Leo has been absent from the fictional streets of Soapville since Duhamel exited AMC in 2003, when the character apparently died falling into a raging waterfall.
Josh’ll be back for a AMC guest appearance in August, just a few weeks before the cancelled show finishes broadcasting on ABC this September.
Everyone at All My Children is thrilled and excited to welcome Josh back to Pine Valley, AMC Executive Producer Julie Carruthers said in a statement Monday. The appearance of Leo is sure to be one of the highlights of the season.
Duhamels return is likely to involve Leo’s former love interest, Greenlee, played by actress Rebecca Budig. The character was recently revived show after a lengthy absence.
