Kardashian Empire Stands to Make $16 Million Off Kim-Kanye Baby (Jenny Craig Isn’t Interested)
Pregnancy will put a few extra c-notes in Kim Kardashian’s checking account. We hear the knocked-up socialite is set to make at least $ 16 million after announcing that she is expecting her first child with rapper boyfriend Kanye West.
Gossip gawkers can expect to see Kim as the face of lots of mother-to-be and baby products over the next several months, a source tells The Sun.
“Kim is in talks with TV execs about filming the run-up to the birth – scans, hospital visits, everything. She could make $ 16 million from the pregnancy alone. She’s already been bombarded with tons of potential deals to endorse parental products.”
Additionally, Kimmy and Yeezy could pocket between “$ 800,000 to over a million” for exclusive rights to the world’s first images of the baby, according to celeb snitch Perez Hilton. But at least one potential sponsor.
Weight loss company Jenny Craig has passed on a deal with Kardashian, explaining she’s not “real” enough to represent women everywhere. The star, who is about three months along, might have a heaping helping of weight to lose after delivery. A representative from Jenny Craig and Medifast explained that their campaigns hinge on demonstrating “real results for real women.”
According to Jenny Craig’s standards, Kardashian really doesn’t cut the mustard.
“We will continue our working relationship with Mariah Carey,” the rep said.
Contrary to earlier reports noting Kim and Kanye’s plans to keep their tot away from the glare of reality TV cameras, Kim is said to already said to be in talks with E! about sharing her pregnancy and the couple’s adjustment to parenthood with their fans through a spinoff show. E! Entertainment president Suzanne Kolb told The Hollywood Reporter Thursday:
