Katy Perry Channels Late Amy Winehouse in Magazine Cover
The ‘One That Got Away’ hitmaker looks lovely sporting Amy’s trademark eye makeup in the black-and-white image that will be featured in the March issue of Interview.Katy Perry steams up Interview magazine with her sexy side. In the cover for the March issue of the magazine, the chart-topping singer is snapped channeling late Amy Winehouse by wearing cat-eye makeup and getting her hair done in a messy teased bedhead up-do.
In the image taken by photographer Mikael Jansson, 27-year-old Perry is seen showing off her cleavage in a bejeweled bra top which she pairs with long black gloves. The “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” hitmaker completes her sultry look with a pair of chandelier earrings.
“If you haven’t already heard, Katy Perry is our March covergirl,” so the magazine issued a statement. “We’re pretty excited (!), especially as she’s interviewed by one of our favorite comedians, Kristen Wiig. In another news, Perry was spotted attending the 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday night, February 26. She was caught on camera coming to the bash wearing a Blumarine dress and a pair of Miu Miu pumps.
During the soiree, Perry got in a bidding war with Executive Vice President of the New York Giants Steve Tisch, according to an attendee. The twosome vied for at-home cooking lessons with Chef Cat Cora. After making a few bids, they agreed to share the prize for $ 100,000.
Joining Elton John at the party were the likes of Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth, Ashley Tisdale & Martin Johnson, and Nina Dobrev & Ian Somerhalder. Celebrity couples coming to the event included Vanessa Hudgens & Austin Butler, Adam Lambert & Sauli Koskinen, and Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer.
