Kim Kardashian pet kitten ‘Mercy’ dies
Kim Kardashian is mourning the loss of one of her favorite pets, her kitten Mercy.
Mercy, a teacup Persian kitten died of a cancer-like virus often associated with breeding. The kitten was a gift from Kim’s boyfriend, Kanye West. “It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you all that my kitten, Mercy, has passed away,” Kim wrote on her blog this evening. “My heart is completely broken.”
The cat, who was actually in the possession of another Kardashian assistant, Sydney, became sick around Thanksgiving and had to be put to sleep after it was determined that an aggressive treatment wouldn’t be enough to save her.
