Kim Kardashian’s a ‘Drop Dead Diva’

Kim Kardashian has been tapped for a multi-episode arc on the upcoming fourth season of Lifetimes Drop Dead Diva, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The reality socialite will play Nikki, the new love interest of Fred (Ben Feldman) who partners with his ex Stacy (April Bowlby) in a new business venture.

This series is all about reinvention, and Im so excited to see Kim reinvented in the world of Drop Dead Diva,” Drop Dead Diva creator-executive producer Josh Berman said of his decision to cast Kardashian.

The last person to cast Kardashian, director Tyler Perry, found himself in hot water. The lensman was forced to defend his decision to cast the two-time divorcee — who has limited acting experience — in his upcoming movie The Marriage Counselor.

Drop Dead Diva tells the story of a shallow, aspiring model who dies in a sudden accident. her soul resurfacing in the body of a brilliant, thoughtful and plus-size attorney (Brooke Elliott).
