Knightley, Lively, Hathaway Eyed For “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises”
Hollywood actresses Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, and Rachel Weisz are among the stars competing with one another to play the leads in the next Batman movie.
Director Christopher Nolan is on the hunt for two leading ladies for the third installment of the Batman franchise and the follow-up to 2008′s The Dark Knight; one as Batman/Bruce Waynes ladylove and one as a potential villain, Deadline Hollywood has learned.
Blake Lively and Naomi Watts are also being considered for the roles.
The Dark Knight Rises, featuring Christian Bale reprising his role as the title character, will hit theaters on July 20, 2012.
