Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Nominated as Favorite Hotties at Teen Choice Awards 2012
Cyrus faces off Katy Perry, Rihanna and Selena Gomez in Female Hottie category, while Hemsworth competes against Robert Pattinson, Ian Somerhalder and Justin Bieber for Male Hottie title.Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth are both nominated for Hottie awards at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. While Cyrus competes against Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Kate Upton in Female Hottie category, Hemsworth faces off the likes of Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson, Ian Somerhalder and Ryan Gosling in Male Hottie category.
The former “Hannah Montana” star is also nominated for Choice Fashion Icon: Female. Her rivals include such high-fashion celebrities as Perry, Nicki Minaj, Zooey Deschanel and Jennifer Lopez. As for Male Fashion Icon, Bieber, Chris Colfer, Cee-Lo Green, Justin Timberlake and will.i.am are all set to face against one another.
In Music, Bieber has to face strong contenders like Drake, Bruno Mars, Pitbull and Blake Shelton for the coveted Choice Male Artist award. Meanwhile, the likes of Perry, Lopez, Adele, Rihanna and Taylor Swift are all vying for the top prize of Choice Female Artist.
As for Movie category, such big titles as “The Avengers”, “The Hunger Games”, “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part I”, “Wrath of the Titans” and “Mirror Mirror” are nominated for Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy.
Finally, in TV field, Somerhalder’s bloodsucker-themed series “The Vampire Diaries” is vying for Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi kudo. The CW series will battle such famous shows as “True Blood”, “Fringe”, “Supernatural” and “Once Upon a Time”.
Winners of the this year’s Teen Choice Awards will be announced during a star-studded ceremony that will air live on Sunday, July 22 on FOX. Host(s), performers and presenters of the ceremony are set to be announced shortly. Beginning Friday, May 18, fans between the ages of 13-19 can vote once each day per category on the official Teen Choice Awards website.
