Miley’s Lola falls for Douglas Booth’s Kyle after dumping George Finn’s Chad, but a possible love triangle soon emerges between the new couple and Ashley Greene’s character.Miley Cyrus is dealing with the pressures of high school romance and friendship in a newly released trailer for her new film “LOL”. The “Can’t Be Tamed” songstress portrays Lola, who is dating Douglas Booth’s Kyle after breaking up with George Finn’s Chad, who didn’t treat her right. Kyle happens to be Chad’s best friend.
After a series of fun dates, Lola soon finds that her relationship with Kyle isn’t that smooth since a sexy girl named Ashley, played by Ashley Greene, also sets her sights on him. Triggered by jealousy, the two girls are involved in a confrontation.
Amid all the drama in her teen life, Lola also tries to bridge the gap in her communication with her mother, portrayed by Demi Moore, who struggles to move on from her divorce. Playing Lola’s father and Anne’s ex-husband is Thomas Jane.
Directed by Lisa Azuelos, “LOL” is based on French film “Laughing Out Loud”. It will be released in theaters across the nation on May 4.
