OG Blue Ivy? Strain of Marijuana Named After Jay-Z, Beyonce Celebutot

Beyonce’s baby name may have sparked a worldwide naming phenomenon — but that’s not the only thing it’s spawned.

If the reports are true, some very entrepreneurial medical marijuana dealers in Hollywood are using Blue Ivy Carter’s unusual moniker to their advantage by christening a type of pot named after the newborn.

TMZ reports:

“Multiple weed dispensaries in Hollywood are cashing in on hip hop’s baby princessby selling a new strain of marijuana called ‘OG Blue Ivy.’”

This is the second major milestone for Blue Ivy since she was born in the Big Apple Jan. 7. The kid is the youngest person to appear on the Billboard music charts for appearing in Daddy Jay-Z’s single, “Glory.” Now she’s also got to be the youngest person to have a strain of weed named after her.

According to TMZ, none of the dispensaries have received any legal cease and desist notices from Bey and Jay-Z.
