‘One Tree Hill’ Star Bethany Joy Galeotti Splits From Husband of Six Years
The Haley James Scott of The CW’s drama series says she and her now estranged hubby Michael Galeotti ‘remain friendly and dedicated to raising’ their daughter.Bethany Joy Galeotti is back on the single market after six years of marriage. The 30-year-old actress/singer, who is best known for playing Haley James Scott on “One Tree Hill”, has revealed on her blog that she and her musician husband Michael Galeotti are getting a divorce.
“I’m sorry to say that Michael and I have decided to divorce,” so she wrote on Monday, March 19. “We remain friendly and dedicated to raising our beautiful girl in love and we appreciate your prayers and support during this difficult time. I feel immensely humbled and grateful that God works all things for the good of those who love Him.”
Along with the divorce announcement, the one-half of musical duo Everly shared her plans to return to her maiden name, Lenz. “…you’ll all be wondering soon why everyone is calling me ‘Bethany Joy Lenz’ again,” she added.
Bethany and Michael tied the knot in December 2005. The couple has a daughter together, Maria Rose Galeotti, who was born in February 2011.
