Paula Deen has Type 2 diabetes. That’s not surprising news. Here’s the thing though: She’s known that she has diabetes for years. The reason she is announcing it now is because she’s got a paid gig promoting a diabetes medication.

Paula Deen is known for riding a stick of butter and for cooking the most sugar and fat laden recipes on the planet. Now Anthony Bourdain is publicly criticizing Deen for making people sick, then profiting from their treatment.
