Being roughed up by two beefy boxers, the ‘Baby’ hitmaker is seen looking gruesome with blood coming out from his nose and mouth in a series of photos for the latest issue of Complex magazine.Justin Bieber ditched his heartthrob signature as he gets covered in blood in a photo shoot for the April issue of Complex magazine. Being shot by photographer Tony Kelly, those pictures see the “Baby” hitmaker being punched in the face during a boxing match.
Rocking a white shirt, complete with a bowtie and black pants, the boyfriend of Selena Gomez is seen getting roughed up by two beefy boxers. There is blood coming out from his nose and mouth, while his eyes are swollen. The images are far cry from the superstar’s well-groomed persona.
In an interview session with the magazine, the “Baby” hitmaker opened up about his very public relationship with Gomez. “There’s no way to hide the relationship completely, because then it would be unfair to us,” he explained.
“It’s like, ‘You take this car, and I’ll take this car, and then we’ll meet up at the spot. Then, you go in this door, I’ll go in this door. We’ll end up crossing ways. You get back in this car’,” he added. “At that point, it’s not even a relationship. You’re just hiding from everyone. That’s unfair and unhealthy, man.”
The “One Time” singer also discussed his upcoming album “Believe”, which will be released later this year. “When I release something, I want it to be the best,” he pointed out. “When I release my fragrance, I want it to be the #1 fragrance, I don’t want it to be the ninth-best-selling fragrance. My Christmas album went double-platinum worldwide. Christmas albums don’t do that, and that still wasn’t good enough for me.”
“I feel like it’s my responsibility to be the greatest I can be. If I start making terrible music, I don’t expect people to like me,” the Canadian pop sensation said. “If I’m making great music and there’s no reason for people to dislike me, that’s when it’s going to make me upset.”
“People just need to take a chance and listen. If they don’t want to take a chance, then I don’t know,” he continued on. “That’s going to be the biggest problem: to make them feel like it’s cool for them to like my music.”
