Reese Witherspoon Reunites With Ryan Phillippe for Son’s Soccer Match
The ‘Legally Blond’ starlet takes her time to join her ex-husband, supporting her son Deacon during his soccer game in L.A. over the weekend.Reese Witherspoon spared some of her time to reunite with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe in order to accompany their 7-year-old son, Deacon, during his soccer game in the Brentwood neighborhood of L.A. on Saturday, May 15. The pair, who split in October 2007 after eight years of marriage, stood side by side while watching their son on his match.
Rumor has it that during the “family reunion” Reese and Ryan looked friendly to each other though they didn’t even share a little chit-chat. A photographer who snapped their candid pictures revealed, “They put on a front like they were getting along and doing it for the kids but they basically didn’t even talk to each other. You could see these two really didn’t want to be together.”
This was actually not the first time the current wife of Jim Toth was spotted joining her former spouse for the sake of their children. Last October, both of them co-hosted Deacon’s 7th birthday party at the W Hotel in Los Angeles. And when the blond beauty got married to somebody else, Ryan even told the media that he is still friends with his ex-wife, saying, “I’m very happy for both Reese and Jim. I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children.”
