Robert Pattinson Feels Too Old to Star in Sixth Installment of ‘Twilight Saga’

Pattinson hints that he might not return to reprise his role as Edward Cullen if there is another movie after ‘The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part II’.Robert Pattinson might refuse the offer to play in a follow-up to “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part II” if there is one. In an interview taking place at “Bel Ami” premiere in Berlin on Friday, February 17, the actor reasoned that he doesn’t feel like doing more “Twilight Saga” movie because he will be too old.
“I’d be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I’d probably be too old,” the rumored boyfriend of Kristen Stewart said at the event held at the Berlinale Palast during the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival. The British hunk went on, “I’m already too old. But yeah, it’d be kind of interesting.”
Pattinson was joined by his co-star Christina Ricci when hitting the red carpet of “Bel Ami”. He donned a black suit paired with a gray shirt and a three-quarter-length coat, while she rocked a sequined Jenny Packham dress and a Calvin Klein clutch. They were joined by Holliday Grainger, Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod.
“Bel Ami” itself is based on Guy de Maupassant’s short story. The story revolves around Georges Duroy who uses his wits and powers of seduction on wealthy beauties to rise from poverty. Joining Pattinson in the flick are the likes of Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas. The drama film is set to hit theaters in the United States on March 3.
