Seal and Heidi Klum Divorce?! Supermodel Dumping Singer Hubby, Reports Say
Oh Mylanta! Are Seal and Heidi Klum calling it quits after a bevy of kids and five years of marriage?
That’s the dish heating up the blogosphere this Saturday.
TMZ — which blew the lid off the Eva Longoria and Kim Kardashian divorce filings — has gotten its hands on a hot little scoop that claims Heidi and Seal are the next high-profile couple boarding a train for Splitsville.
We hear the Project Runway host and former “Head Angel” for Victoria’s Secret will file for divorce from her British singer husband as early as next week. Klum will cite “irreconcilable differences” when she drops off the papers in Los Angeles, tipsters say.
Heidi and Seal married in 2005 and are known as one of Tinseltown’s most in tune couples. The pair has renewed their vows on their anniversary every year since tying the knot.
Heidi once credited the “opposites” differences in personality with helping them maintain a vibrant marriage.
Part of why were so good together is that, in a lot of ways, were opposites,” Klum said in 2010. “Im speedy and I dont like sitting still for long. My husband is the most patient person Ive ever met. He can explain something to the children for hours, and I will just say, OK, this is how it is.
She added:
We may have some different passions, but we love and respect and trust each other. I think about what Im grateful for. I look at my kids and my husband and think, Wow, Im a really lucky person.
They have three children together — Henry Gnther, six, five-year-old Johan Rileyand Lou, two. Seal adopted seven-year-old Leni, Heidi daughter from a romance with Italian entrepreneur Flavio Briatore.
Just last year, Heidi and Seal were considering adoption. The broody couple revealed that they wanted to keep adding to their family — by adopting a disadvantaged child.
Seal said:
“I was really inspired by Sandra Bullock, who we’ve become friends with. She came round with her adopted son and she’s raising a little boy by herself. She’s giving him a chance, but he doesn’t know it yet, which is just awesome. We’ve talked about adopting. I’ve no idea where we’d adopt from, but I think we will one day — just not yet.”
The two were reportedly last seen together on Dec. 27, when the supermodel-mom tweeted a photo of herself and her musician husband in Aspen. Heidi attended last Sunday’s Golden Globes solo.
If Heidi and Seal truly are headed to divorce court, things could get awfully expensive. According to Forbes magazine, Klum raked in $ 20 million in 2011.
No word on Seal’s earnings.
