Have the Beliebers finally taken a toll on Selena Gomez?

Reps for The Biebs’ Better Half confirm that the starlet was hospitalized in Los Angeles overnight after falling ill during a taping of NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Doctors treated Selena for symptoms that included nausea and a severe headache. Could stress be to blame? The Scene singer, who is currently making the media rounds as she promotes her forthcoming album, recently became the target of a Twitter hate group after snaps of her on vacation with boyfriend Justin Bieber went viral last month.

Last night, after Selenas appearance on The Tonight Show, she wasnt feeling well and was taken to the hospital, a statement from Selenas rep noted on Friday. She is currently undergoing routine tests. Unfortunately due to these unforeseen circumstances, todays scheduled appearance in Santa Monica has been canceled.

Selena had been due to take part in a performance of her single Who Says, with her band The Scene, and take part in a fan Q&A session at the Santa Monica Place Center Plaza at 4 PM Friday afternoon.

Gomez certainly looked healthy as she kissed sweetie Justin at Tuesday’s NBA Finals game between the Mavericks and the Heat in Dallas. She looked even better as she chatted about her beau with on last night’s Leno.

Jay asked: “Has your mom met Justin Bieber?”

“Yes,” Selena replied, never missing a beat and adding: “He passed the test.”

Selena remains hospitalized as she undergoes a battery of routine tests.
