Stevie Wonder “Glee” Tribute in the Works

Has anyone been tuning in for the latest season of Glee? Fans of the Fox musical comedy could be in for treat, as executive producer Ryan Murphy has confirmed that writers are planning a tribute show to hitmaking legend Stevie Wonder.
Murphy spilled the news Wednesday night at the Paley Center for Media, where he was honored with the inaugural PaleyFest Icon Award. The iconic crooner is set to join Michael Jackson, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac and Britney Spears as artists who have been “Glee’d.”
Glee fans have already heard one of Wonders songs covered on the program. During the show’s second season, Artie used the ’70s ballad Isnt She Lovely to serenade Brittany in home economics class. The Stevie extravaganza is something Murphy says hes been hoping to create since the show’s inception.
“I think were going to do a big Stevie Wonder tribute toward the end of this year, which Ive wanted to do for four years. So thats my big thing. He was my favorite when I was a kid.”
