Trace Cyrus Brenda Song Engaged
Plans are underway for a spring wedding at Casa de Cyrus. Trace Cyrus, the rocker older brother of Disney baddie Miley Cyrus, is engaged to marry Brenda Song, another starlet made famous by Hollywood’s most popular mouse.
The pair have been an item since May 2010.
The former Metro Station frontman, 22, made the announcment himself, posting news of his pending nups in a Tweet to fans that hit the blogosphere on Friday:
“I am very excited to say, last week I asked my girlfriend Brenda Song to marry me and she said YES! We are both very excited to be engaged!”
Miley Tweeted in response to the announcement:
“Can’t wait for Brenda to be a Cyrus 
couldn’t be more excited about my ‘sister-in-law to be…’”
Brenda is best known for playing airhead socialite London Tipton on the Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She made her foray into more adult roles in the 2010 hit The Social Network, playing the girlfriend of Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin in the Oscar-winning film. Before hooking up, both Trace and Brenda were linked to other stars from “Planet Disney.” Cyrus dated former Sonny with a Chance star Demi Lovato in 2009; Song was romanced by Demi’s ex Joe Jonas the year before.
Though Song’s parents deny it, the 23-year-old is reportedly pregnant with Cyrus’ child. The baby rumor, which first surfaced in August, gained new life when Song recently Tweeted that her “stomach is full of excitement.”
