When the ‘Mistletoe’ singer tapes his appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, his manager Scooter Braun drops by to reveal that he and Usher have bought the singer a Fisker Karma.Justin Bieber has got a sweet birthday gift from his manager Scooter Braun and mentor Usher. The “Baby” hitmaker visited “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Wednesday, February 29 to tape for his Thursday appearance, which coincides with his 18th birthday, and was surprised with a luxury electric sports car.
In charge to present the sleek gift to the boyfriend of Selena Gomez was Braun. A surprise guest on the talk show show, he started by saying, “You work really, really hard. I always yell at you don’t get anything flashy. You know, we’re not about that. Be humble, be humble and I kind of broke my own rule…”
“So we wanted to make sure your were environmentally friendly and we wanted to make sure since you love cars that when you’re on the road you are always environmentally friendly and we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out. … I think you know where I’m going and you’re kind of freaking out right now,” Braun continued before revealing it’s “a Fisker Karma”.
After Bieber checked out the car, host Ellen DeGeneres presented the “Never Say Never” singer with her own gifts for him. They included a sun shade with a heart featuring both of their faces as well as her bobblehead.
During the chat, Bieber also brought a big announcement for his fans. “My big announcement is that on March 26th my first single is coming out and it’s called ‘Boyfriend,’ ” he told the audience before revealing that he wrote the song with fellow singer Mike Posner. Of the single itself, he explained, “Basically I’m talking to this girl if I was your boyfriend I would never let you go.”
