Will Howard Stern Replace Piers Morgan on ‘America’s Got Talent’?
“America’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan announced he was leaving the show just yesterday — and the Wall Street Journal reports the program is already in negotiations with a pretty familiar face to replace him.
The paper says Howard Stern is in talks to sit alongside Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel on the judging panel in 2012 — for a cool $ 15 million a year.
Part of the deal may include moving production from Los Angeles to New York to accommodate Stern’s Sirius XM radio show, which he would continue doing in tandem with “AGT.” Relocating the talent show would cost NBC another $ 10 million, making Stern a very pricey hire indeed.
